Resumes eNews
DECEMBER 2007
Dear
friends, partners, clients,
and colleagues,
It’s
been a very busy year at
Ultimate Resumes and while I had intended to research and write an
end-of-the-year newsletter about how to find and when to retain a labor
attorney I just plain ran out of time. So, for anyone interested in
that topic you can look forward to reading about it in a newsletter
early next year.
2007
was a great year for resume
writing and I am so grateful to all of my clients, partners, friends,
and colleagues. I was able to help more than twice the number of people
with resumes in 2007 than I did in 2006. Thank you to all of the
clients who referred business to me – I am so grateful for your
kindness. Special thanks to the recruiters and coaches whose referred
business my way in 2007 – I appreciate your ongoing support more than
you know!
I
published two e-books in 2007
both of which have been downloaded more times than I could have ever
imagined. If you would like a free copy of the Ultimate
Book of Thank You Notes or Interviewing
Made Easy just click on the links and you can download them from
the Ultimate Resumes website. Special thanks to Lynnae Holmes of Adair Design for doing the
e-book layout for me.
2007
also brought new friends
and partnerships to Ultimate Resumes. I am proud to be the “resume
expert” for Ivy Exec, a job
search website for graduates of top-tier graduate schools. I feel
fortunate to have partnered with the Austin Technology
Council (ATC) to offer resume review services to their members.
Under Alisha Ring’s energetic leadership ATC has become a thought
leader in the technology world. In 2008 ATC is partnering with Forbes
magazine to host a series of conferences on the future of technology in
shaping our world.
In
2008, in addition to writing
resumes for my clients and providing marketing strategy for BroadPeak Collaborative, I look
forward to doing more webcasts on interviewing for the students of
Cardean University. I will also join life coach Victoria Cook as a
guest-host in a series of teleconferences on resume writing, interview
tips, and job search strategies that she is hosting for her clients.
I
wish you and your families a
joyous holiday season and a happy, safe, and prosperous new year. Thank
you for your friendship and I look forward to connecting with each of
you in 2008.
Happy
Holidays and Happy New
Year!
Liz
